The soon-to-be-released Yoshi’s Woolly World for the WiiU was one of the many games showed off in the Nintendo Direct that aired on April 1st, 2015. Today, previews for various levels expected to be played through the game have just been released.
Yoshi’s Wooly World takes place in Craft Island, a small island in Handmade Ocean. The peaceful life of a clan of Yoshi is disturbed when Kamek appears and proceeds to turn everyone but two Yoshis, one green and the other red, manage to escape and chase after Kamek.
For those who have played a Yoshi game, the gameplay will be very familiar with some differences. This time, instead of laying eggs, you will be using balls of yarn to attack foes in your way and progress through the level by solving various puzzles. You can replenish your yarn by eating certain enemies, hitting floating boxes, and eating stray ends of yarn sticking out from something in the background. These stray ends may appear only after a butterfly with wings shaped similarly to the stray ends lands on something.
However, your gameplay will not be limited to just this. Some levels may require you to make different types of achievement, such as beating time-limited floors or traversing through unusual ones the require you to act quickly. No doubt, Yoshi’s Woolly World will be an interesting one to play. To check all the previews, please visit Nintendaan on Youtube for the latest in Nintendo Videos.
